CM inaugurates Jeevandhara

The Chief Minister Mr. N.Kiran Kumar Reddy advised the Medical and Health Department to take utmost care in proper maintenance of Medicines procurement, Storage, Distribution, Access and use to serve the poor and the disadvantaged in a better way.
The Chief Minister has opined that the Government of India may be requested to bring an enactment for compulsory sales of both generic and branded medicines in the medical stores all over the country.
Chief Minister opined that ensuring successful implementation of Jeevandhara programme would dispel the myth that quality of medicines is linked to price and demonstrate that the quality medicines can be sold at substantially lower prices.
