The Congress and the Telugu Desam will be reduced to a whimper in the coming bypolls to the Kadapa Lok Sabha and the Pulivendula Assembly constituencies. According to YSR Congress leader Ambati Rambabu, they can only put up a token fight to secure a second place. Addressing a media conference on Friday, Mr. Rambabu asserted that YSR Congress would wrest both the seats with a commanding margin.

He also reiterated that both the parties were shamelessly resorting to match-fixing to defeat former Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy. He added that, an invincible popular mandate would put aside their manoeuvring politics.
