Narayana launches fast against graft

The Communist Party of India State Secretary K. Narayana began a 48-hour hunger strike in protest against corruption in the society and supporting Anna Hazare's agitation,on Saturday.
The CPI leader said that the Central government had bowed down to public anger against rising corruption, and agreed to constitute a committee to draft the Lok Pal Bill, as demanded by social activist Anna Hazare. The CPI would continue its protests and campaigns to create awareness among the public about corruption.
