Provide 50% reservation for BC's : BC Welfare Association President
Backward Caste Welfare Association President R.Krishnayya on Saturday requested Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy to provide 50% of Reservation for the BC's. Mr.Krishnayya said, according to the Constitutional amendments, reservations should be given depending on the population of the cast.
Speaking to newspersons Mr. Krishnayya questioned the state government about the 50% of reservation for women which is not mentioned anywhere in the constitution. Talking further he expressed his agony for the welfare of Backward Castes.
