Viveka meets CM Kiran Kumar

The Minister for Agriculture, Mr. Y S Vivekananda Reddy has met Chief Minister Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy in camp office on Sunday morning and is reported to have requested him to accept his resignation to the cabinet. It was learnt that Vivekananda Reddy has felt that it would be improper on his part to participate in the election campaign as a minister.
However, the Chief Minister is believed to have told him that if he accepted his resignation, it would bring pressure on another minister D L Ravindra Reddy, who was also contesting from the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat. The Congress high command has almost decided on the candidature of Mr Y S Vivekananda Reddy for Pulivendula and Dr. Ravindra Reddy for the Kadapa Lok Sabha seat, though it was yet to be officially announced.
