Tuition fee: Krishnaiah warns of agitation

Backward Castes Welfare Association leader R.Krishnaiah has warned of intensifying the agitation, if the government proposes to cancel the fee reimbursement to students from BC communities. Addressing a gathering at Sangareddy on Sunday, Mr. Krishnaiah alleged that the government has been conspiring to cancel the fee reimbursement to BC students.
The BC leader also demanded the government to increase the charges being paid to students in hostels from Rs. 500 to Rs 1,500. Stating the government has failed to provide 50 per cent reservation to BC communities as promised, Mr. Krishnaiah demanded that the ruling Congress party take initiative to keep the promise.
