Narayana breaks fast after 48 hours
Communist Party of India State Secretary K. Narayana broke his 48-hour fast against corruption in front of the Sub-Collector's office on Monday. He accepted a glass of juice from State Grandhalaya Samstha chairman Turlapati Kuthumbha Rao and Ghazal Srinivas to break the fast.
Addressing a gathering on the occasion Mr. Narayana said that the movement against corruption should continue because the mere drafting of the Bill would be of no avail. Mr. Narayana said that the CPI would continue to educate the masses about the Bill so that, they could take an active part in the debate leading to its enactment.
