Bhadrachalam Decked Up for Rama Navami

The ancient temple of Lord Ramachandra on the banks of the river Godavari at Bhadrachalam in Khammam district is being spruced up for the ''Sri Rama Navami'' festival. The state government has been making efforts to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the Sri Seetharamachandra Swamy temple during the Sri Seetharama Kalyana Mahotsavam and the Sri Rama Samrajya Pushkara Pattabhisheka Mahotsavam.
Concerned official have been instructed to enhance security in the temple in view of a planned visit by various dignitaries and huge number of devotees on Sri Rama Navami. District medical and health department has set up six round-the-clock medical camps in the vicinity of the temple to provide necessary medicare in case of any emergency. The temple town is decorated with colourful festoons, lights, arches and other paraphernalia. Devotional songs are being played on important thoroughfares in the town.
