CM Kiran Kumar Reddy had to face a bad omen when he went to Bhadrachalam on Tuesday to participate in the Sri Rama Navami celebrations. As the head of the state, the chief minister was supposed to present pearls to the deity along with silk clothes.

He was accompanied by minister Ram Reddy Venkat Reddy, who was carrying silk dhoti and saree on his head to present them to the deities, the saree fell down and the minister had inadvertently touched it with his foot. Some people said such an incident had never occured in the past and it was a very bad omen.
