Kiran obsessed with by-polls: Left
The CPI and the CPI (Marxist) have criticised Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and his Cabinet colleagues for leaving administration in a 'state of coma' in the name of bye-elections to Kadapa Lok Sabha and Pulivendula Assembly seats.
The two parties faulted the government for deploying one-third of Cabinet in the district while the Congress had reportedly decided to spend huge amounts to win the by-polls at any cost. Separately, CPI State secretary K. Narayana criticised the government for its frenzied approach towards the election.
The Congress appeared to have developed a sort of 'phobia' ever since the election was notified, he said. Speaking further he added that functioning of several key departments has come to a standstill as Ministers are camping in Kadapa.
