An upgraded Foot Over Bridge equipped with outdoor elevators and escalators, said to be first of its kind in the country, at L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Banjara Hills was inaugurated by Governor, E.S.L. Narasimhan in the city on Monday. According to the the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation the FOB has been upgraded at an estimated cost of Rs.3 crore, to bring better infrastructural facilities for easy cross over road by pedestrians, senior citizens and physically challenged have been equipped. The FOB installed with outdoor elevators and escalators is first of its kind in the country, made from SS Car with latest technology including automatic door operation, electrical mechanical lock, automotive switching system, suspension ropes with all safety precautions.
