YSR Congress Party President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday filed his nomination papers for the Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency seat, with the Returning Officer in the Kadapa district. He was accompanied by MLAs Konda Surekha, Karunakar Reddy and actress-turned-politician Roja.

Jagan revealed that he owns assets worth Rs. 365 crores. Incidentally, in 2009, he had declared Rs. 77.40 crores worth assets, and back in 2004, he had declared assets worth Rs. 9.18 lakhs.

Speaking to media persons, Konda Surekha stated that the people of the constituency would give a fitting reply to both the Congress Party and the Telugu Desam Party in the by-elections. Former actress Roja stated that Jagan had launched the YSR Congress Party to effectively implement the schemes launched by Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.
