Badvel Circle Inspector Ulasaiah seized Rs. 6.89 lakh and a car during vehicle check at P.P.Kunta check-post in Gopavaram mandal in Badvel constituency. The car was coming from Nellore and the money was seized after the six occupants said that, they had come from Karimnagar district to Nellore to purchase a paddy harvester.

Meanwhile, Pulivendula CI Seetharama Rao seized Rs. 6 lakh from three persons working in Zuari Cements in Yerraguntla at a check-post on Pulivendula-Kadapa route. They claimed to be coming from Bangalore, but could not account for the money and it was seized.
