The campaigning for the by-polls to Kadapa Lok Sabha and Pulivendula assembly constituencies has been stepped up with candidates of Congress, TDP and former MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is seeking re-election, making all-out efforts to reach out to people. Jagan has been campaigning actively for the last several days, while his mother Vijayalakshmi is also canvassing for her re-election from Pulivendula.

Former Minister Y S Vivekananda Reddy, is taking on his sister-in-law in Pulivendula. Ministers Md Ahmadulla, K Lakshmi Narayana, senior party leader N Tulasi Reddy and others were campaigning for Health Minister D L Ravindra Reddy, who is the Congress nominee for Kadapa Lok Sabha seat. TDP Rajya Sabha member M V Mysoora Reddy, is ready to file his nomination today.
