Congress Telangana MPs for withdrawal of G.O. 177

Congress MPs from Telangana have demanded the government to completely withdraw the controversial G.O. 177 as it was loaded against the working class of the region. At a meeting on Sunday, Congress MPs - G. Vivekananda, Gutha Sukhender Reddy, S. Rajaiah and Ponnam Prabhakar flayed the State government for issuing the order.
They said people would not remain silent till the government dropped the G.O. and alleged that its objective was to crush the Telangana movement. At the sametime, the meeting was also understood to have taken serious view of the Chapter 8 of Justice Srikrishna Committee.
