Nominations to the Kadapa By-polls finally came to an end on monday. Strong contenders will be playing a vital role in the elections which is touted to be the most sough after by polls in the history of andhra pradesh.

All major political parties, specially the ruiling Congress and its Rebel party YSR Congress are all shoulder to shoulder for the elections. 57 nominations have been filed for Kadapa Parliament while 32 nominations were filed for Pulivendula assembly seats. This is the first time that Congress has roped in as many as ministers and prominent political personalities during campainging.
