In a twist of events, the Panchayat Raj minister, Mr Botsa Satyanarayana, praised the TRS chief, Mr K. Chandrasekar Rao, for spearheading the Telangana movement. Mr Botsa Satyanarayana said, Nobody can deny Mr Raos sacrifice while the Telangana movement. He gave up his Union minister post to head the movement.

He requested leaders to have patience to wait for the Srikrishna Committee report. Taking exception to senior leader and Rajya Sabha member, Mr K. Kesava Raos comments of militant struggle to achieve the Telangana, the minister said use of such words would panic people. He asked parties not to go to courts to settle personal scores in the guise of regional movement.
