Congress, Jagan supporters clash

Differences between the supporters of the YSR Congress Party and the ruling Congress turned into a law and order problem in Narsapur of West Godavari district on Wednesday. A meeting held by the followers of Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy at the office of the Town Congress Committee resulted in a clash between the two groups, warranting police intervention.
Police imposed prohibitory orders in and around the Congress party office after dispersing the clashing groups following a complaint by TCC president Polisetty Vasudeva Rao who alleged that a group of people, in an oblique reference to the YSR Congress Party, had trespassed into the party office. Local MLA M. Prasada Raju, a staunch follower of Jagan, has been accused of being a covert' in the Congress and promoting his own group in the party.
