Devotees expressed concern over the deteriorating health of Satya Sai Baba. Huge number of Devotees thronged to Puttaparthi on knowing about Baba's critical situation. They expressed hope that the God Man would recover soon and give his dharshan.

Meanwhile Police beefed up security measures in Puttaparhi with many devotees of Baba thronging to the region. Director General of Police K. Aravinda Rao said, that police force was increased. 'A police camp had already been put up on the hospital premises to scan visitors. Police also imposed restrictions on the movement of people in the vicinity of the hospital', he said.
