Police strengthened security in and around Puttaparthi in view of Sathya Sai Baba's deteriorating health. Top officials from the Police department are monitoring the situation on a timely basis, so as to avoid any kind of chaos. Meanwhile three power generators and Big display screens reached puttaparthi on friday.

Even as devotees continued to move in large numbers to the piligrim town, spritual leaders from Bramha Kumaris reached the town and performed special pujas in front of the sathya sai super speciality hospital, where the godman has been hospitalised.
