The state government on wednesday decided to intervene into EMAAR properties scam which has created chaos for the government. The cabinet would hold detailed discussion on the issue in todays meeting. Chief Minister K Rosaiah will have a clear discussion with the ministers and APIIC officials on the allegations layed against them. The decesion weather to order an inquiry or not will be decided in the meeting. Earlier Senior Congress MLA D L Ravindra Reddy on Monday opined that the deal between the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation and Emaar Properties is not legally valid since it was not approved by the Board of Directors before it was signed, and since it was struck without the knowledge of Chief Minister K Rosaiah.
