Presently on his visit to Delhi, Prof Kodandaram had a busy schedule on Wednesday, meeting a string of senior political leaders from various parties. The objective of his trip, was to mobilize opinion in favour of introduction of a bill in the Parliament, on creation of separate Telangana state.

He called on BJP leader Rajnath Singh, CPI General Secretary A B Bardhan, JDU leader Sharad Yadav and other leaders and sought their support in the fight for realizing the statehood goal. Kodandaram had also announced formation of a separate organization in Delhi, on the lines of TJAC.
