Bandh called by MIM party members in Old city
* High alert in Hyderabad after attack on Owaisi
Police sounded high alert in the old city of Hyderabad on Saturday, after an attack on prominent MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi. Police forces, including personnel from paramilitary Rapid Action Force, were rushed to the communally sensitive areas. Shopkeepers downed shutters in various parts of the old city as the news of the assassination attempt on the young leader spread like wild fire.
