PRP Chief Chiranjeevi threw a challenge to YSR Congress leader Jagan in a truly filmy style. Chiranjeevi, who is campaigning for the Congress candidates in the Kadapa, told the people that the by-elections are a war between Sonia Gandhi's self-respect and Jagan's adamancy.

Stating that even the national media was writing about Jagan's corruption, the actor-turned-politician said that the young leader was brought disgrace to the entire Telugu race. Addressing the crowd, he said if votes were cast for either the Telugu Desam Party or YSR Congress, it would go waste. Chiranjeevi appealed to vote for the Congress and ensured that it is only the Congress which will empowerment and development to the state.
