Security tight at every polling station

Chief Electoral Officer Mr. Bhanwaral Lal on saturday said the Election Commission has made all ellaborate arrangements ahead of the kadapa polling that would take place today. The polling which began at 8am in the morning will continue until 5 in the evening. Special and tight security measures have been adopted at all the polling booths in the two constituencies.
The EC reportedly deployed 2 armed policemen at a normal polling booth and increased the number to four or eight armed police personnel, depending on the area specification. The Commission also banned the voters to carry cell phones, camera's and other wireless devices to the polling booths. Mr Bhanwarlal requested the voters to cast their votes without any fear.
