The ruiling congress expressed its deep concern over the attitude of the election commission in the kadapa-pulivendula by-polls. Congress party leaders alleged that the EC has not taken its complaints on a serious note.

Pradesh Congress Committe Vice-President Madasu Gangadhar warned of taking up the issue himself if the EC failed to respond to its complaints in the given time. Another complaint was filed by the congress to the EC, to react to the previous call it had given.
