Delegation of TDP meets CEO
A delegation of the main opposition Telugu Desam Party met chief electoral officer and complained that, the rival party candidates were indulging in electoral malpractices by threatening its polling agents. The party leaders have submitted a memorandum to the election commission on the alleged rigging in Devaguda polling booth, in Kadapa district.
The TDP cadre complained to CEO that, their agents were not being allowed inside the polling station, at Jammalamadugu. Taking a strong exception on the security deployment, the opposition members alleged that, lack of safety measures are leading to misconduct of electoral process. In the meantime, the leaders questioned on the inefficiency of web cameras in the polling booths, where the TDP agents are unavailable.
