Congress submits four petitions about rigging in some polling booths

The spate of complaints flooded the office of Chief Electoral Officer as the polling for the Kadapa Parliamentary and Pulivendula Assembly constituencies commenced on Sunday morning. Congress leaders were busy rushing from the APCC headquarters to the CEO's office in Secretariat.
An APCC delegation comprising party general secretaries, Rudraraju and Padmaraju - submitted four separate petitions about rigging in some polling booths in Duvvur mandal of Mydukur constituency. They enclosed representation submitted by the Congress candidate D.L. Ravindra Reddy against the CI of Kadapa one-town Police station and another Inspector Kondaiah for openly supporting the YSR Congress candidate.
