No link of any candidate could be established by investigation teams of the Income-Tax Department, with the cash seized in Kadapa district during the by-elections, said Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwar Lal said on Monday.

Speaking to reporters, the CEO said the director-general, Income-Tax was going into all the seizures after booking cases under several laws. He spoke of the transportation of black money from place to place with which the real estate business, was being undertaken in the entire country.

Mr. Bhanwar Lal said as per recordings in the diaries by polling officials and footage of videographers, the Election Commission had decided that re-poll was not required at any of the polling stations in Kadapa Parliamentary and Pulivendula Assembly constituencies except at one spot in Kadapa town.
