The third Board meeting of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority, HMDA chaired by Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy on Monday, approved major development projects for the city. They include inter-city bus terminal at Miyapur on Bachupally highway on NH-9 and the Truck terminals at Batasingaram and Mangalapally on PPP mode.

The bus terminal at Miyapur would be taken up on BOT basis by a private developer. Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy suggested earmarking of green belt area in the HMDA master plan. The draft Master Plan after approval would be placed before the public for objections and suggestions. He directed the officials to speed up ORR works and reviewed the contemplated projects like Traffic and Transportation Cell in HMDA.
