Chiru in Delhi to finalise merger

Praja Rajyam president K Chiranjeevi on Tuesday rushed to New-delhi with a wish-list of cabinet berths and also to expedite and finalise the merger proposal with Congress party. Though his appointment with either UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi or finance minister Pranab is yet to be confirmed, PRP sources said Chiranjeevi was scheduled to meet Congress general secretary and AP Congress affairs incharge Ghulam Nabi Azad today to discuss the reasons for the delay in merger.
Meanwhile, PRP sources said Chiranjeevi would submit a list of portfolios in the wake of speculation of an imminent cabinet reshuffle by month-end and also seek an assurance on a couple of MLC seats under the governor's quota. Chiranjeevi is likely to continue concentrating over National politics for some time now.
