YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy will undertake a two-day fast in support of the farmers, in Guntur district from May 15th. He has put off his Odarpu Yatra scheduled from 14th in Vizianagaram district and is likely to resume it from May 24th. The former MP is said to have strategically chosen Guntur, keeping in mind the unrest among the farmers.

The decision on protest programme was taken at a meeting on Wednesday which was attended by Congress MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy, former Minister Penmatsa Sambasiva Raju, former MP Bhuma Nagi Reddy.
