Low pressure area over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and extending upto South Tamil Nadu persisted today. According to the Met Department, under its influence rain or thundershowers were likely to occur at a few places over South Costal Andhra Pradesh and at one or two places in north coastal district during the next 24 hrs. Heavy to very heavy rains are also likely over North Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the same period. The System is likely to intensify further promising more rains in Coastal Districts.
