No fish medicine for children: HRC As the stage is being set for the Mrigasira Karthi' in the state, Child rights commission requested the State Human Rights Commission in the city to ban fish Prasadam for children.
With this, as the fish prasadam is scheduled on June 8th the Child Rights Commission has asked the HRC to exclude children from giving the fish medicine.
Meanwhile, the HRC has ordered the state government to take measures to prevent children from giving the medicine and asked to submit a report on this issue by June 6th. The HRC opined that forcing children amounted to violation of their rights.
