Rains bring relief to the people of Hyderabad

Hyderabadis who have been reeling under heat wave conditions prevailing for the last few days had an unexpected relief when rains lashed the city. Day temperature plummeted to a new low as the city soaked in rain for more than an hour.
Denizens welcomed relief from the heat. Rain along with hailstorms fell in LB Nagar, Vanasthalipuram and Nagole localities.The evening bore indication of what was in store for the night when cloudy conditions prevailed and temperature began coming down significantly.
