Manohar to be elected Speaker, Damodar to be Dy. CM
The deputy speaker, Nadendla Manohar resigned to his post as the high command reportedly decided to elevate him as speaker in view of his efficient functioning. It is learnt that the governor may appoint th esenior member and former minister, JC Diwakar Reddy as the Protem Speaker to facilitate speakers election.
It is also learnt that the party has decided to appoint Bhatti Vikramark as the Deputy Speaker. According to the sources, the name of Dr. Chakrapani, who was nominated to the council, was finalized for the post of Chairman of the Upper House for another term. Reports also said, that the IT minister, Ponnla Laxamaiah would be appointed PCC chief and Damodar Rajanarsimha as Deputy Chief Minister.
