The city witnessed monsoon showers of the season which brought much respite to the people from the scorching heat. The city recorded a rainfall of 22 mm. In the afternoon hours, the sky got covered with thick clouds and soon it started raining. This made the weather pleasant and people were seen enjoying the sudden change in the weather. The Met Department said, that rains may continue in the city.
