Telangana leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy has stated that he would support the no-confidence motion in the Assemnly, whether or not the Telugu Desam Party issues a party whip regarding the same. Speaking further he alleged that the No-Confidence motion was only a tactic adopted to shift focus from Telangana issue.

Nagam demanded the Telangana Congress leaders to mount pressure on the centre to derive a clear consensus on the seperate statehood issue. Speaking further, he said the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu was kneen on insulting the sentiments of Telangana people. My agenda is only to achieve a seperate statehood for Telangana, he said.
