* Mallu Batti Vikramarka files nomination for Deputy Speaker

Nadendla Manohar filed his nomination for the Speakers post in the state assembly. Meanwhile the government Whip Mallu Batti Vikramarka filed his nomination for the post of Deputy Speaker.

Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, Praja Rajyam Chief Chiranjeevi, Minister Sridhar Babu, Botcha Satyanarayana, DK Aruna and a couple of others were present as the duo filed their respective nominations.

Majlis-Ittehadul-Muslimeen MLA Khadri read out the names of candidates who filed their nominations for Speaker and Deputy Speaker posts. However the absense of PCC D Srinivas from the programme is brewing stories.
