Legislative affairs Minister D Sridhar Babu requested all the political parties in the state to cooperate while electing the Speaker for the assembly. He said that No-Confidence motion and the election of Speaker were two different issues.

The Minister said he discussed on the same issue with all other parties including the Telugu Desam Party Chief N Chandrababu Naidu. Although the thought of passing a 'No-Confidence' motion on farmers problems seems to be funny, Congress is ready for the same, Sridhar said. Speaking further, he said that all those who won the elections with Congress will continue to remain in the party.
