After chairing a meeting with the Governor, Speaking to the media later, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu bitterly complained that all democratic procedures were violated by the pro-tem Speaker Mr J C Diwakar Reddy and an attempt was made to declare Nadendla Manohar elected as Speaker of the house in a unilateral way.

Secret ballot was not conducted for the election of Speaker and Deputy Speaker, he complained. Babu, said the TDP has been fighting against the anti-farmer and anti-people policies of the Congress since 30 years and the fight would continue.
