Earlier in the day, when the assembly proceeded, chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy said, that Supreme Court has clearly defined what a ballot is and what a secret ballot is. Talking further, he said, that a law could be passed based on TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu's suggestion to enable voting of candidates belonging to the same party.
