Nadendla offers prayers at hill shrine
On his maiden visit after getting elected as the Speaker of state Assembly, Nadendla Manohar offered special prayers at the Sri Venkateswara Temple this morning. Congress MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao accompanied the speaker during his visit. For thanksgiving, Manohar and his family climbed the holy steps leading to Tirumala Temple from Alipiri yesterday.
After an overnight stay at hill top, the Speaker and his family offered special prayers at the temple in the morning. He was later presented Sri Vari prasadams by TTD officials at Ranganayakula Mandapam where temple priests blessed him.
