Heavy pilgrim rush at Tirumala

* Thousands throng Tirumala temple
The renowned hill shrine Tirumala, has been witnessing a sea of humanity, with only a week left for the summer vacation. The heavy influx is keeping the pilgrims, to wait for nearly 15 hours. And on the other hand, following heavy demand for accommodation, the devotees were seen spread all over the public places.
Lets have a report! The famous hill temple of Lord Venkateswara, is experiencing heavy turnout of pilgrims for the last two days. The crowd atop the hill temple is so high that all arrangements which the TTD had made to meet the summer rush was thrown out of gear. Serpentine queues were witnessed in front of the Vaikuntam queue complex and Kalayanakatta among other places following heavy turnout of devotees to Tirumala, the abode of Lord Venkateswara on Saturday.
The pilgrim congregation was attributed to summer holidays which are coming to an end shortly. The bee-lines stretched out to several kilometres outside the two massive complexes, which have over sixty compartments. Hundreds of devotees to escape from the summer heat kept reaching various scenic spots in Tirumala hills like Papavinasanam, Akasa Ganga, Narayanagiri gardens and Srivari Padalu.
The surging crowd of devotees, is making the pilgrims to wait for, more than 15 hours for free darshan & more than 6 hours for paid darshans. And, on the other hand, the devotees are being forced to spend endless hours in getting accommodation.
