CM urges politicians not to hinder development for political gains

Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy urged the politicians not to hinder development in the state for political gains. CM said that security of the people is the most important thing for his government and he is ready to work towards removal of any apprehensions in this regard. Kiran Kumar Reddy stated that the power consumption has increased drastically and additional power generation centers are required.
He said that free power is currently received by 28 lakh farmers in the state and said that power is being given to industries at a subsidy rate. Negotiations with the Central Government are in process for modifications in the mercantile power policy, he added. Kiran Kumar said that interests were waived off for kharif loans in more than 680 mandals in the state.
