ACB raids: 10 Crores detected from Chief Engineer

Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau today raided the residence of Ramulu Naik, chief engineer of Rural Water Supply at Amberpet. The ACB sleuths, who split into groups, also simultaneously raided and searched the officer's houses at Kurnool, Anantapur, Kadapa and Mahbubnagar districts and detected unaccounted wealth to the tune of Rs 10 crores.

Following information that the officer had amassed huge wealth by corrupt activities, the ACB organised raids on his houses at various places simultaneously and found that he possessed huge wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income.
