The distribution of fish Prasadam to non-vegetarian asthma patients and jaggery Prasadam to vegetarians was completed on thursday. More than 40 thousands asthma patients were given the Prasadam by the Bathini Goud family members in a special programme in the city. Revenue authorities have asked the Bathina family to shift the Prasadam distribution venue to the five acre land allotted to them near Katedan in Rajendernagar from next year.

Meanwhile, the AP Balala Hakkula Sangham, in a mockery of the fish Prasadam distribution, administered frog medicine to some people saying the exercise was meant for educating people.
