CPI (M) to discuss poll debacle in Hyd

The Communist Party of India begun a crucial meeting today to discuss the party's poll debacle that ended its 34-year rule in West Bengal. Former chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee is not attending three-day politburo meeting due to bad health. The politburo meeting, which is being held today, will be followed by a two-day central committee meeting beginning on Saturday. The top brass of the CPI (M) is also expected to discuss the dismal performance in Kerala.
