* Kavitha demands the state to increase their wages

Taking a dig at the lethargic attitude of state government, the Telangana Jagruthi president K.Kavitha demanded the ruling party to increase the wages of Beedi workers. In this regard, the Telangana protagonist participated in the dharna staged by, women workforce of Beedi industry today.

Speaking on the occasion, she questioned the government for not issuing, the final G.O in the place of draft notification given on 30th November 2010, increasing their wages. Kavitha deplored that beedi workers were lowest paid amongst the working class in the State. She described that the delay in issuance of GO, as injustice to the working class.
