Violence mars dharna at Warangal
Tension prevailed in Warangal District, when YSR Congress party activists, who were observing dharna in front of district Collectorate office over farmer issues, clashed with pro-Telangana of Kakatiya University JAC activists yesterday. The dharna was part of a state-wide call given by the party.
The trouble started when the pro-Telangana KU JAC activists removed the YSR Congress party flags and burnt the vehicle belonging to YSR Congress party. The police lathi-charged the students who clashed with YSR Congress Party leaders. The Pro-Telangana KU JAC activists demanded to announce the party stand on separate Telangana statehood.
